Fix and Optimize a Vacation Rental WordPress Website

Simply put, I am looking for someone to fix & optimize an existing WordPress website linked to a Vacation Rental Software (through the VRS’s API). The Wordpress site is still a work in progress. We have over 20 vacation rentals, and we want people to be able to book them directly on our site. The VRS is called “Streamline VRS'' and they have an accompanying portal with all the API documents you need.

There are 3 main requirements for this project:
1. HOMEPAGE/OUR STAYS - SEARCH BOX:
- Essentially, we want the search box on both of these pages to work. We want our guests to be able to select their CHECK-IN date in the 'check-in box' and the CHECK-OUT date on its respective box. Also, the # of guests.
- After someone enters their criteria (Check-in/Check-out/# of Guests) and presses the Search button, I want them to see the search results (the available homes that match the entered data), ideally within 3 seconds. The way it is now, it takes a lot of time to display the results (sometimes it displays a server error if it takes too long).
- Additionally, there's another box option that says 'where do you want to go?'. We want that removed.
2. INDIVIDUAL LISTING
- We want each individual listing/property to be saved on our WordPress page. Preferably, with all of their photos in it (optimized for better speed). As it is right now, every time you run a search, the resulting homes stay on the page for a while and then they are erased automatically (the photos stay saved on wordpress for some reason and every time we run a new search, the photos are saved/stacked again and keep accumulating).
- We want the properties to stay saved all the time so that we can use their static links for marketing purposes. The only thing that needs to change automatically is the information, calendar & prices (everything below the pictures), which are generated via the Streamline API. This needs to work for the project to be completed. We would like for it to keep updating in real time without running a search every time.
- The calendar dates need to be synced real time with the Streamline software.
- Eliminate (or find an alternative way to fix/use) the ‘search/options’ bar that appears with the search results.
- We also need that any future properties that we add in the Streamline software to be automatically added on our Wordpress page, just like the other properties.
3. PROPERTY CARD INFORMATION
- Every property listed on the ‘Our Stays/Search results’ page must have the # of beds, # of bathrooms & max. # of guests on the card display (before clicking on the property). Only when searching for a property, via the search bar, will the price per night appear on the card (as it currently is).

IMPORTANT NOTES*
The Wordpress theme that we are using is WP RENTALS. It has its own booking system which has been changed (by another programmer) to adapt to our API needs. [login to view URL]
The project must be completed taking into account our available tools. (Hosting, Shared Server, Speed, Bandwidth, Storage, etc.) and the fact that we have multiple (functioning) sites in our server.
At the end of the project and prior to sending the final payment. You will have to send the list of files and directories that you worked on. (for future reference) & site HAS TO WORK as intended.
I realize we will need to spell out the scope of the project a little better, but that should be plenty of information to help you decide if you are a good candidate for the job, and to give me an estimated cost for the project.
